And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My parents had a set of these in the 1960's. We were constantly reminded by her, "Don't touch those fans! We saw a woman in the Department Store get her fingers cut off!!" (Back then, there was no protective grill on the back of them...)
I bought two vornados, a floor model and a desk model back when I was building a new graphics rig, and my old one was melting down. researching parts and gathering them took almost a year (waiting on model upgrades and availability of certain parts.)
The desk model stopped working a month or two after I bought it and the tall floor one could not move enough air.
I replaced it with a Lasko which still works great. The floor vornado sits in a corner of my bedroom aimed at the wall, where I still use it as a noisemaker when I sleep.
