  2. Those may be the newer LED bulbs, which are very efficient but as a result run cooler. The old incandescent bulbs ran hotter, which is less efficient, but the snow melted by accident.

  3. Spent a year at the Naval Air station, Keflavik, 5/72-5/73. WAY better duty (and winters) than McConnell AFB, Kansas.

  4. Snow is pretty when nothing walks on it, used to wake up in Canada & look out my window to see only bird tracks in the snow just a white blanket covering everything.
