  2. These are great, in the led version. Do not use Duracell AAA's in these. The Duracell AAA's always, yes always leak. I've had to toss 3 of them because the swelled up Duracell AAA's cannot be removed. (I'm a slow learner.) Energizer AAA's do not seem to have this problem. I was a 35 year Duracell guy until their batteries all started leaking. The straw was a small Nikon flash unit (SB300) that had the AAA's leak. $125 down the drain.

    1. Concur on the Duracell brand. Lost one of my mini-lites that way. Plenty of YouTube videos about this. Another alternative, especially for bulk purchase, is Costco's Kirkland store brand. Costco maintains a high standard for their store brand merchandise. Have been running their AAA's, AA's, and D cells for a couple of years now with no leaks.

    2. I really like the Tractor Supply batteries (JobSmart). I do believe they last just as long as Duracells do.

  4. I like the Candle Mode. Unscrew the Front, turn it upside down and put the Body into it. Self suppporting light.

  6. CW-
Next time you place an order get a couple of spare bulbs to stash away. They can be hard to find sometimes.

Those little flashlights are as handy as a pocket on a t-shit. I have two of them within reach right now. And yes, I do believe they are made in the USA.
    MAGA-LITES!

  7. Try this one. I have used these for 6 years and found them nearly indestructible. Great price too.
