And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Top speed is about 2k slow. Construction is too much plastic and sheet metal. For all that, yeah, adequate benchtop drill press. Although there are a lot of approximate equivalents in the same rough price range, and none of 'em are really rated for more than maybe 3/8" in angle iron. I'd go for a cheaper one, or something better built at 3x the price.
I'll stick with my ancient Atlas model 54. It's getting a restore this winter if I can just decide on a color. They came in dark red, deep navy blue and that awful 60s-ish marina blue/green you used to see on town swimming pools in the 60s-70s I'm leaning navy...
