And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Circa 1984ish, Spearfish, SD, there was a sandwich shop that had a pinball machine called "Coney Island". Great game to play and the best fucking meatball sammich I have ever had !!!
Dad had a pool table/record machine/pinball machine rental business in the late 70's and 80's. I was a teenager in the 70's and always had a roll of quarters in my pocket. I got real good with pinball and early video games.
Right. Because they'll never shovel out stupid amounts of money to sit in front of something with loud noises and flashing lights for hours on end. Waitaminute...
When my wife and I married, my stepdaughter was 13. I had a pinball machine and she'd play for a while after school. When she started dating, and bringing boys home for dinner, we could easily tell which ones she really liked. They won. Otherwise, she ran up an embarrassingly high score (for the boys) while they struggled to keep up. We never saw the losers again.
Iron Maiden Power Slave. Great Album. Killer Pinball Machine.
