Today we walked the Jordan Craters in Oregon. A large cone with smaller ones. 34 Sq. miles of lava flow possibly from only 3,500 years ago but some estimates are 100 years ago. Tubes, obsidian, crisp cold weather with a bit of snow on the ground making the black shine. Good hike. Glad it's "dormant" for now.
