  2. '69 Cougar Eliminator? The hood scoop is much bigger than stock.

    1. Or a knock off. I had a buddy in high school take his brother's base '68 Cougar that had a wore out 289 and transplant a stroked 302 that needed a hood scoop because of a high rise intake. He retromodded and copied the Eliminator paint job on that 10 year old car.

  3. Whenever I see a brightly painted automobile, I think, "Cops sure can identify this one."

  5. Just from looking at the background, I think it burned down last week.

  6. 1968. [on the 1969, the side bodyline runs as a sweep from the front fenders through the doors to the rear quarters.]

  7. I'd say '68. The front marker light is what tells me that. My parents bought a '68 302 automatic yellow black vinyl top black interior. It was totaled when it was hit in the rear, frame bent so they said. Not much body damage at all. I remember the car going back to the dealer numerous times for issues. We said it was the right color for being a lemon. Anyways, I drove it for the summer until the inspection ran out and remember it being a good running fun to drive car. This had to have been 1976 or so.

  8. That looks like San Francisco, and it looks like part of the route from the Bullitt chase.
