I bet the trail down to the beach is a doozy

  1. Years ago I went abalone diving by Point Arena in northern Calif, a friend knew a guy who knew a guy kind of thing. They had a place we could camp too... to get to the water they had a truck axle pounded into the top of a steep slope with a rope attached.
    Good diving that day & a great weekend all around as long as forget how bad a felt Sunday morning putting on a still wet suit while hungover...

  3. I wonder if those backpacks have parachutes where they can simply dive off the cliff and land on the beach?

    1. Low 50s year round. On sunny days ya trunk it (board shorts only, or maybe a T-shirt too)

      First thermocline at around 12 feet.

  5. The bluff offers a great overlook to watch what the surf is doing. I've been down many a cliff face to get to secluded surf spots.
