And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The Front Seater listed below the canopy rail was a 1Lt in my last squadron before I retired. From the looks of things, either a Weapons School or Test and Eval jet. I was around when some of these were brand new, even got to pick one up at the factory. They're really showing their age.
At the end of the runway at NAS Key West, when the light turns red. I stop my motorcycle and an F-4 Phantom goes roaring by. He's maybe 30 feet off the ground and waves to me. Never forgot that. It was only 58 years ago.

But they're still flying, unlike the rival Tomcats.
