    Episodic TV always pays less than film.
    Like 95% of the people on that show, he was just happy to be working.

    Most actors are waiting tables and parking cars, most of their lives.

    1. Frank Gorshin's salary for his role as the Riddler on the 1966 Batman TV show was $2,500 per episode during the first season. Before the second season, his new agency, William Morris, requested that his salary be doubled to $5,000 per episode, but this demand was not met by the producers
