    The art series is excellent, me being unschooled on style, artist methods, and such. Very educational.

    1. Lots of lines, angularity in the pic. Designed to keep the eye moving. But evocative of harmony too. Stark, sparse, simplistic.


      Strong, bold vertical line intersecting the horizontal. The horizontal line is below the middle third of the image.
      (My opinion, the only time the horizontal should be in the middle third is when showing mirror image such as reflection on water.)

      Gray shading not necessary but does add a muted texture of horizontal lines. The shading does not retract from the image.

      Tomorrow, Chapter II about the striking addition of color. Haha
