Embedded in the marble steps of the Galleria Colonna is this French cannonball, fired during the Siege of Rome [1849].

  1. I've been in a few houses on The Battery in downtown Charleston that have cannonballs stuck in walls & floors. There supposed to blow up but a lot don't.

  3. 1960 had my tonsils removed at Tripler hospital on oahu there were japanese bullet holes over my recovery crib in the wall. They remain there to this day.
