And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
40% off "list". Either they aren't selling well or the "list" price is outside the perceived value. As a late, late adopter of battery tools, I agree that in limited situations these are extremely handy...but for a day in the shop they just run out of steam before I do. My guess is that they'll be in the DIYsometimes bag, but the real tool users will have both. I've bought all of mine used, at way under half of list, from the guys who have upgraded from 3.6 to 7.2 to 12 to 18 volts....and now the 18 volt systems are getting replaced.
I bought one of these 15 years ago. Don't remember what I paid, but I believe it was the same ball park.
ReplyDeleteVery handy to be able to bring a power screw driver or bolt driver to the job without being tied to a wall outlet or an air hose.
The bag is big enough to store the tools, batteries, changer and small boxes of screwdriver bits and 1/4" drive sockets.

Those cordless impact drivers are handy to be sure !
ReplyDeleteI'd rather run a 100 miles of extension cords than pay for another battery tool.
