And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Read the book by Henry G. Felson back in the day. Was meant to discourage teenage bad driving. In the end the hero and his girl both die of speeding in his award winning rod. Never did like the book after the ending.
reading HGF's "Red Car" sparked a love for MG's. Do vaguely recall "Hot Rod". Judging by the "trailer", the movie would highlight the melody of flat-head V-8's.
