  7. I thought there were no civvie vehicles made during the war. I suppose it could be classed as a farm truck, but you'd have to have distinctive ethics to know you've taken a useful truck away from the men who are dying to protect you.

    1. I really don't know how they came up with a '43 year model. They didn't begin production of the "Flat Fender Power Wagon" until '45, after the war.

      I used to call them a civilian off-road Power Wagon. I picked up that term in the '70s.

    2. War is about Logistics. You can not fight if you are starving, you have to feed those building the Weapons, etc. You have a lot going on behind the Front.
