  1. Looks like Mont St. Michel in the background.

  2. Actually, it is Saint Michael Mount in Cornwall. The British equivalent of Mont St Michel. Probably a publicity shot from Westland out of RNAS Yeovilton. UK, German, Pakistani and South African birds by the looks of it...

  3. Given Trump's plans for Nato we may not see a picture like this again.

  4. Good. We helped them all (all those countries, and others) to get back on their feet again, after the war (WWII). Let them stand on their own two feet, and defend themselves. Long overdue.

    1. How long will it be before "their" problems reach our shores? NATO's very purpose was to prevent that from happening. History speaks for itself: before NATO, we were dragged into two world wars within 20 years. Since its establishment, we've had 80 years without a global war. It’s worth asking: what’s less expensive—fighting wars or preventing them?

    1. None. Commies don't ride Sea Kings. Allies used to ride Sea Kings.
Commies rode Mil-Mis... but I guess we like those guys now.

  6. I think we've finally seen the ruination of Germany. It will take them a long time to build out of that debacle they made for themselves with the helpful Angela and her splendid commie ossification ideas.

  7. Woodrow Wilson and the other Progressive lackey Teddy Roosevelt set the stage for both World Wars. Don't let their ilk do it again.

  8. Though a bit different, it brings back a memory of flying aboard a Sikorsky HH3 over Kodiak Island in 1986.https://www.helis.com/h/h3f.jpg
