  1. I fully retired from the working world in 2010. I don't have this problem.

  2. You wait and wait for those 3 and 4 day holidays all year and they are over in a flash. Glad I'm with John on this one but the time flies even when you have lots of it.

  3. Short week is good. And when we come back, the extra food gifls from engineers - consultants comes in, adding pounds to gut if you aren't limiting yourself (wouldn't want to be rude, right ? :^)

Getting to that time of year our clients are busy planning holiday activities - vacations, and deadlines before the end of the year become difficult (especially from needed feedback).

All i n all - a mixed blessing. But for the short term - Party Hearty !!

  4. WOW!!! Remember when we had those dial phones, stacks of paper and a pen and an analogue clock? And a white shirt and tie? Nobody now would know how to do all that. ---ken

  7. Boss still expects you to do 5 days worth of work in your 3-day pre-holiday week.
