Interesting Camo on old number 20

  1. On first-second glance, thought it was an F-111 Aardvark ... then I noticed the roundels. A little digging reveals it as a Sukhoi Su-24 - Fencer.
    Reportedly, Russia & The Ukraine each maintain approximately 100 Fencers in active service. In most recent reported action, UAF Fencers sank the Russian landing ship Novocherkassk in December '23.

  2. Speaking of camo patterns, I find it a bit absurd that US Navy and the US Air "Farce" seem to think that they need camo uniforms.

    1. The TU-22 first flew in 1960 before the F111 was even on the drawing board. The Russians designed five or six different types of swing-wing aircraft.
