  1. There's been more than a few really good dancers....Cyd Charisse, Gene Kelly, Ann Miller(my father's favorite) and Donald O'Connor to name but a few, but Astaire and Rodgers had a certain class (and incredible talent) about them that was hard for anyone else to duplicate.

  3. Not to throw water on the fire but it is my understanding that Fred as a first class azzhole who demanded perfection and when it did not happen, he threw a hissy fit.
