    Less than half of pyrex is made in the US.

  5. They're no longer made of "Pyrex" instead they're soda lime glass that's tempered, these have a habit of exploding. Also not made by Corning anymore.

  6. Pyrex is made in France as of 2024 according to Brave Search.

    As for the use of a 32oz prep container - those are useful. I find that size just a bit to big for my lunch and prefer the 28 or 26 oz sizes.

  7. Pyrex is NOT made in France. It was first made in Corning, NY and it is now produced in Charleroi, PA.

    There is glass cookware made in France; JG Durand is the company. They came to the US about 40 years ago and tried to produce glass ware (cooking, drinking and serving ware) in southern New Jersey. It did not work for them.

    As a "qualifier" for my above statement: I was a housewares buyer for several department stores over the years.
