And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've got a mess of them. They are ok. Here's my only issue with them....the trigger time. There's about a 10 second delay on the motion activation. A lot of activity can happen in 10 seconds without you ever knowing.
Also, If I turn on the app and click on a camera, it's also about 10 seconds until I get linked to the camera .
They're inexpensive, easy to install and set up, and have a decent picture, but don't expect too much more than that.
wired is the way to go, as "somebody" can very easily intercept your wi-fi signal with wireless, everything is back doored anyways, wireless can still be intercepted but that requires really serious equipment and very high tech personal. its nice with wireless, just P&P, some wired kits they provide lots of weather-tight cable, little more effort but it a done and done set up once installed. if you have attic space, drill smallest hole for the coax cable and a dab of high grade polyurethane boat caulking, your set, drill your holes close to roof edges or as high as possible, lot less water in those locations so leaks are minimal if at all, chase you cables to one location and drop down above an outlet box, remove the box, easy to fish out the cable bundle, cut out for an extra box, and your good, if you don't hit a cross brace 2x4 that is, just have to find a drop down brace free. or cut a box opening just above the brace. the cover plate hides your boo boos.
I’ve been using Wyze cameras to keep an eye on things here at the ranch for the past 3 years. Yes, they are wireless and only as good as the security implementation on WiFi. I’ve had a problem with the setup on one of them that only does monochrome even when the light is sufficient for color. Also, I am not sure why, but the barn cats keep unplugging the extension cord for the camera in the back of the barn. Maybe they are super paranoid.

ReplyDeleteThat is not true. You can see the live view any time in the app.
