The North American FJ-3 Fury, a carrier capable cousin of the F-86 Sabre. First flight of the Fury was December 27th, 1951. Introduction to service was 3 years later in 1954. 741 total were built and she would serve until September 1962.

  2. Pretty Aircraft. My father flew FJ-4B Fury's from the USS Ticonderoga in the late 50's.

    Should have been named the Cutlass.

    They hadn't wasted that named on the F7U yet.
