And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My 4x4 Power Ram looks puny next to many of the basic trucks produced today. Lots of plastic and thin sheets metal on them. Put a magnet on any part of my truck and it will stay put.
Nice. I happen to be trying to revive a 1973 F250 that has been parked for about 24 years. One new tire so far, fuel tank or lines leaked so one tank dry. Once I fix the leak source, onward to see if it turns over etc. Fun fun.
Had a '72 Ranger XLT when I was in High School with that red, white, and blue XLT logo. It absolutely kills me when I see a restored one at a car show these days.
A late uncle of mine, a farmer who actually had use for a pickup, would probably laugh himself silly over how supersized all pickups have become.

Proper piece of kit there. I'll take it, even though the FE isn't my favorite engine family. My nephew put a Ford 400 in his '68, woke it right up!
ReplyDeleteThere is one just like it in the valley where I live. Right down to the hubcaps and cab lights.
ReplyDeleteEverything you need, nothing you don't.
ReplyDeleteMaybe not fancy but it's sure classy

ReplyDeleteMy dad just sold his '74. Tailgate fell off years ago, 3rd motor, 2nd transfer case and front hubs, great patina. Sold in an instant.
ReplyDeleteWay better looking than anything today.

ReplyDeleteNot fancy, but highly desirable.
ReplyDeleteHad a '76 light blue over dark blue. Hurts me to say but traded in for a Buick Century because of kids.
