And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Believe it or not the Savage m1905/7 is a striker fired pistol even though it looks to have a hammer. It very well could be ready to fire by just flipping the saftey and pulling the trigger.
I did the same for an Erma RX 22 manufactured .22 autoloader. I kept it on a bookshelf, adjacent to my favorite living room chair within easy reach. When the doorbell rang after dark, I often pulled the gun out and kept within a magazine draped over it. No one suspected a thing.
Extra mags on pages 438-612.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a Savage thing to do to a book.

You'd need to load a round to use it wouldn't you? Seems like a revolver might be better...

Delete32? You’ll need the spare magazines…
ReplyDeleteA lot of people have died quickly from .32 auto, not so much from .32 short. It's where you shoot 'em, not what you shoot 'em with.
ReplyDeleteGood use for that book.
ReplyDeleteMay have been the first with a double-stack mag
