  1. I still have an old rotary phone, and a first gen DTMF pushbutton phone. They still work.

    1. I do too- torture is dialing a number like "909-9000". takes a month.

    2. There's a working rotary wallphone in the hallway at the house. Any time an AT&T tech was here they marvel at it. I had to show one girl how to make a call on it. It was hysterical. If the power goes out, it still works.

  4. We had a sticker that had a Dial A Prayer number and there was a number you could call to get the exact Naval Obsevatory time. 911 was not a thing, you had to either call the operator or know the phone number of police and fire departments.

    6 was normally MNO, and there was no Q nor Z in the mix.
