And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
We once had a huge BBQ with neighbors and their dogs over - a total of five dogs. Went to the fridge, there was five steaks missing. Looked for the dogs, because like toddlers, if you don't hear them and don't see them, they up to no good. Found them all on the other side of the garage, each with a steak - up until then, no one knew the Belgian was able to open the fridge and remove only what was needed to incriminate all of his friends.

ReplyDeleteA young Tervuren. I used to have Groenendaels. The entire breed are smart, sharp, good looking animals.
