And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I’ve got a set in my toolbox. The trick is to drill a deeper pilot hole than you think you should and go easy on the easy out. They work well for 6-32 & 8-32 screws; not so much for anything bigger.
Commonly referred to as Easy Outs. They work very well once you drill a pilot hole in the screw or bolt head.

ReplyDeleteWhen tightening down a screw or bolt, torque it down until the head snaps off, then back it off a quarter turn.
