  1. Mopar makes a swing out bed step that leaves your hitch free for towing. Handy unit.

  2. I sincerely look forward to rubbing a little skin from my legs on this doohickey. It will be much better than knocking a chunk out when I ran into the trailer ball.

  3. I put a "Hitch Hammer" on my Ridgeline. It goes into the receiver and is a piece of heavy rubber to cushion a minor impact from the rear. My wife says that she felt someone hit it lightly. Very few drivers seem to understand that you should leave a car length between you and the car ahead when stopping at a traffic light.

  5. I have something similar on the front 2" receiver on my truck and I use it to reach the transmission dipstick. What is the square u-bolt for? greegBC, I have a 2" square tubing front push bar and a smaller in height rear push bumper in my rear receiver just short of putting the tailgate down for that same reason, being hit from the rear.

    1. I think that the u-bolt is to stop hitch rattle.
