And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Dad was a left handed person as well and liked that Savage offered the 110 in a left handed action. This was back in 1970's. His final selection was the Remington 788 with left handed bolt (but still threw empties to the right) in .308 Winchester. It was not a bad gun.
A very cute girl!
ReplyDeleteIndeed - fetching lass. No wonder she has a ring on that left hand.
ReplyDeleteThat is a Savage left hand bolt rifle I think.
It does look like an Accu-Trigger, doesn't it?
DeleteWrong handed.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how many of us would notice that she was a Southpaw.
DeleteOf course I'd notice she was a southpaw. Not easy finding a decent left handed rifle for my wife (though we went with a Browning).
ReplyDeleteAs happens in so many photographic images, the "negative" may very well be reversed.
ReplyDeleteA "reversed" image would show a windage turret on the scope of a right handed rifle.
DeleteIf that were a fact, the bolt handle would still be hidden.
ReplyDeleteAnd the windage turret would be visible on the port side of the scope.
DeleteShe's a leftie.
