The guy in front just turns and watches the mayhem happening behind him

  1. Payback for all the times he’s been a douche bag on the road… we’ll deserved.

  2. And the idiots who left the obstacle on the track wander off like nothing's the matter..

    1. They were standing there waving a red flag. I’m not a biker, but I’m pretty sure that was a warning. The first biker set the second one up. This is not on the track workers.

  3. Odd, seems the two bikers are on the same team. And yet it looks as if the first rider let the trailing guy get trapped.

  5. If that were me, if I could, I think I'd get up and beat the shit out of those assholes. Who thought putting that on the track during a race was a good idea?

  6. In '72 while driving a '64 Ford Falcon I was rear ended by a '57 jimmy pickup tailgaiting a Ford Econoline that swerved out of the way just in time for me to receive a perfect 3/4 ton's sucker punch.

Econoline may never have looked in his rear view to see t what came out of the mess.

  7. Teaching the new kid a lesson or just being a jackass, either way he definitely did that on purpose. He even looked back to make sure his teammate caught his 'message'.

This reminds me of the Ferrari F1 Team of Prost and Mansell. Asshole Nigel Mansell acted like he'd rather wreck his team leader than accept 2cd place behind him, I hate watching him.

  8. Let me try this again.

I looked this up. Chile v. Brazil for Bronze Medal in South American Games hosted by Chile. Women’s track cycle (those are female riders).

The widget on the track is a starting gate for a track bike. Teams start on opposite sides of the track. There was a false start which was cancelled, with whistles and red flags to notify the riders. The starting gates were not removed from the track because of the false start, they would be needed again.

Brazil’s team heard/saw the signals, Chile’s team apparently did not and kept going full bore. The Chilean lead rider saw starting gate (I think Brazil’s gate, halfway around track) still in place at last moment and swerved. Second Chilean rider couldn’t avoid, did the summersault, and broke a patella. Note that track bikes have single fixed gear, do not have brakes, and I believe the front wheel does not turn. Makes emergency maneuvers sporting.
