And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Drove a Citreon on the Autobahn 35 years ago. Hit 100 mph, shaking terribly. Only passed RV’s (caravans in Eurospeak) and older Citreons. It was wonderful. Would have flown the Concorde if I was old and rich enough. I, sadly, am still in steerage.
I debated flying the Concorde once, when I was traveling home through Paris, and I've regretted not just blowing the money to have the experience. I was young and stupid enough then, just too cheap. I'm a lot older now, a little wiser, but still just as cheap.
No, you were smart. Depending on the year you could have made any number of permanent acquisitions, paid in full. Back in the 90's I paid $350 for a flight in a B-17 over Plymouth Country, sadly the one that crashed in CT, that money I'll never regret spending.
AAAGH! There's a Philistine in our midst! Those DS/ID Citroens are a gorgeous money pit but I can't work out why the photograph was taken with the suspension set high.
Perhaps I can interest you in a not so rare WW 2 French army rifle.you remember the one”Dropped once, never fired” Wasn’t the Citroen company’s last ditch effort to get one one their cars into the USA mainstream the short lived and impotent LeCar? Or was that their equally crappy Renault? Either way imagine the movie Bullitt’s famous Mustang-Charger chase scene and re-insert those 2 aforementioned French beauties. That’s the version where Steve McQueen come’s out at the end as being gay
No. The June bug is much more elegant! By the way, has anyone seen a June bug recently? I've seen maybe a dozen in the last few years here in east Tennessee. Bubbarust
