And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
In high school I had a friend whose parents bought him a BSA Victor 441. It was a machine I greatly admired. He was a great guy who rewarded his folks by being a very responsible rider. His name was Carl, and I've often wondered what became of his beautiful bike.
I ride a 2019 Triumph Bobber Black. I believe this is a newish scrambler because of the exhaust pipe. Sweet ride even an "old man" can get a leg over and ride. Tylenol + arthritis = hundred mile ride on a nice day.
Classic LOOKING! The modern forks, headlight and mounting brackets etc. are clues but the obvious dead giveaway is the white tank with the new Triumph logo. Close, but no banana!
In the early 70's, all the British bike brands were owned by the Brit government. None of them, other than Norton, were profitable. So, the decision was to shut down all but one brand. They picked Triumph to keep open.

I think it's a modern Triumph Scrambler.

I ride a 2017 T120 Bonneville. Gorgeous bike, and an absolute ball to ride. Much like my T140V with none of the silly hassles...
