And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Maybe I'm just old and remember things in a certain frame of mind. But it seems most aircraft from that era, both military and civilian, had styling as well as aerodynamics in mind when designed.

ReplyDeleteIt was the first very sleek looking aircraft. Moving the intake from the nose to the wing roots so cameras could be put up in the nose did it.
ReplyDeleteAppears to be a YRF-84F, based on the canopy configuration and the FS number. I believe the production models had less canopy framing.
