      cowl, steel wire wheels and those fenders are too long.

  4. Flat head v8, s10 5 speed transmission, dropped front axle, modern brakes and cruise the wheels off of it. Have custom wheels made for it to mimic current wheels on it.

    Yeah, it would cost major bucks, but the transmission, brakes and front axle are affordable. Don't forget to add a quick change rear end to get some hiway friendly rear gears.

    1. You can get custom made rims today. Bike builders do this for every build. Copy them in either aluminum or steel.
      These rims appear to have rim locks. 4 each visible on the outside, plus new construction tires.
