  3. It would taste even better if it was made in a cast iron skillet.....

  4. Especially when a suitable amount of bacon grease is used to fry up some of the ingredients. Bacon makes a lot of things taste even wonderfuller !! :^ )

  5. One of the best breakfasts I can recall was cooked on a Coleman 2 burner gas stove and a camp table by my Mom, we were camped by a creek and that was a LONG time ago (late 60s).

    1. I second that. The smells of breakfast being made on a naptha gas Coleman stove brings back many childhood memories, esp. the smell of toast made over the burner.

  6. That's either an old photo, or someone still has orange plastic plates and their avocado green (and slightly melted) spatula. I'm guessin' the latter.

    1. Came to the comments just for the spatula and was rewarded. LOVE!

  7. It tastes better because when it's made in a cabin - you don't have the daily grind ahead of you. You have an out of the ordinary no worries day ahead.
