And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I got a 14 year old Fender base when I was a junior in high school in the late 70's. It was a very worn bass with a starburst paint job. I rebuilt it when I was in college and I had a roommate that was an Art major.
I have the same guitar in a lefty version....made in May of '61....funny story, when I took the neck off to do a little cosmetic surgery, it was written in crayon under the neck....
