And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

68 pound carronade on the forecastle of the HMS Victory.
Errr, it is a 68 Pounder, as noted on the display sign. The impression is given in the title that the gun weighs 68 pounds, whereas that is actually the weight of the spherical shot which blasts out of the noisy end.

I took a tour on the ship. Very awesome for its day. Been on the USS Constitution, too. Even awesomer because it still sails.
