  1. I was staring at that Liquid Gold in a Lee's Market yesterday. Can't say I've ever tried a Carolina style sauce. Someone tell what I'm missing.

  2. Thats SOUTH Carolina mustard base sauce....NO THANKS. Give EAST NORTH Carolina style.....no musturd

    1. Exactly! That's the SC mustard based sauce. Nowhere near as good as the NC vinegar based sauce.

  4. First BBQ place I went to in North Carolina had vinegar based sauce. Coming from the Midwest, and used to KC honey based sauce, it was quite a change.
    Still prefer the KC version.

  5. EAST Carolina BBQ. I was raised on it. EVERYTHING else just dont work.(whole HOWG BBQ that is) It spoils you for that and only that flavor. From Greensboro? eastward to the coast. I was born SOUTH of there a bit.
