And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? We (kanada) had the bottles back in the day, as well. Then, we switched to plastic jugs in late 60's. I remember getting milk in school(rural, ate lunch at your desk; pint bottles of homo, chocolate or OJ) with those paper lids, and half the time you couldn't get the little flap to pop up cuz it was soggy, or it ripped, and you had to punch the lid into the bottle to get at the contents.
From the days of bottled milk from dairies. Up in Canada they put milk in plastic bags.

DeleteHaven't thought about those in half a century.
It's kind of scary to realize that I'm old enough to have pulled a few of those stoppers off of a bottle of milk. Where does the time go?
DeleteOur grandparents warned us, time flies and we couldn't wait to get out of school and be 'free.'
