Maine Coons are impressive, gorgeous cats. I had three purebreds. Paws the size of dinner plates. Thank God, they were gentle giants, just as sweet as can be. Hope to have another some day.
Read about a coon cat that got snatched by an eagle once. Showed up back home 3 or 4 days later. Had some pretty bad gashes in his back and they had to be treated, but somehow or other that bugger got away from a freaking eat. Unbelievable man unbelievable.
Man that looks like a bobcat or a lynx. Just a little scary!
ReplyDeleteBy the size, I would say lynx.
DeleteSIL how a barn cat that hooked up with Mr Bobcat. Beautiful barn kittens, and no mice or birds to be seen

ReplyDeleteThey are big and sweet, but.....all that hair. Lots of upkeep and housekeeping.

ReplyDeleteFor twenty years, I had a Norwegian Forest Cat, the S-10 version of the Coon Cat. Marvelous, weird beast, named Lazarus.
