And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I'd take that in a heartbeat. New glass and headlights, drop in a Chebbie 250 Straight six with a 4 speed and hydraulic clutch, redo the brakes and wiring and you'd have a runner.
Looks like the '47 KB-1 I had. Which would have been a '41, really, as the IH line spent the war years building 3/4 ton, One ton, 2 1/2 ton, and 5 ton trucks for the Navy and Marines, so GMC could concentrate on Army orders. That would be an easy restoration, but like all restorations, probably expensive. IH trucks could survive anything short if a direct meteor hit.
