And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Dad had both a 4cyl 4x4 and a 6cyl 4x4. The 4cyl was kept at the hunting cabin in N east PA. (stored in a garage in the town that was down at the river level) The 6cyl was used as a snow plow. Hmm, might have been a v8, but I know it was bigger than the 4cyl, as I was the usual operator. The 4cyl was a 4 door, with dual front heaters and a pto winch. Pretty sure it was a 6, as I recall dad stating that the v8 swaps didn't work well, as the gearing was all wrong for them. Mid 60's, so they were most likely 50's vintage.
My grandad had a neighbor with a long, straight, skinny paved driveway that he kept cleared with of of these. Thought it was the coolest truck when I was a kid.
I'd buy that too.
ReplyDeleteIt seems strange there is not the option for 4 wheel, 6 cyl.
Oh, come to papa!!
ReplyDeleteNo 4x4 and six cylinder due to the 4x4
ReplyDeleteIs still same as a 4 cylinder WWII Jeep.
