And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
People right when all is lost and thy can't win because they wouldn't saddle up and fight sooner when they still had a chance to prevail. Kind of like the crap show we are looking at right now for America and Americans.
I bought this in the spring, misplaced it and bought it again. Now I have two. I'm just into it a bit, and it is interesting. My reading as a kid about Pork Chop Hill in Korea always left me wondering how a man would dive on a live grenade to protect his buddy. How they fought on when completely surrounded. It's been interesting so far.
