The "Giant Bear Otter" (Enhydriodon Dikikae) was roughly the size of a lion and competed with our ancestors for food

 


They competed until the upright monkeys found out how tasty giant bear otters really were.

  1. I think I read (on a cave wall) that they tasted somewhere between pangolin and chicken, mind you, those Stone Age chickens were plucked right of the ceilings of the caves.
