Desert Hideout, Mk II

  1. Nice place. Sort of my dream home. Immune to earthquakes and floods. Better have some perimeter lighting. Hope it has a reliable source of water and access to pavement. I wonder what the chick in the kitchen is making?

  2. I don't see a good place to drill a well. I'm thinking a big tank up on the hill, that is filled with water truck.

    1. Yep. Too high for run-off. Without reliable water, this is fantasy land, not intended for bug-out.

  3. I would want that window wall facing North. And the comments about H2O are right on the $$$$$$. When searching for property near Williams AZ, 12 or so years ago, we were told the cost of a well was about $400K. Even in North Scottsdale, many have water hauled in. Wonder how much THAT co$t$. Not to mention how you may need to treat same to assure purity......Having said that I live in MI's UP and we suck all our water out of Lake Superior. Not running out any time soon...
