And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Amazon is owned by traitors. Keep on supporting them though, you might save a buck or two and that of course is all that matters to most american sheeple.
Never even occured to me to click the link to check the price until I read Jabrwok's comment. 506.00 ?!? WTF. You occasionally see grossly overpriced stuff that is there to profit off of idiots. Had a vacuums roller brush bearings go out once, looked online and they wanted $80+ for it. The new vacuum was going for 50 something.
Besides being a very good cook, I'm also a very good retired pro-photographer. I spent the money for Zeiss glass because my customers may not know why the image they were paying for was so good but I did. It always comes down to the tools in the hands of a professional. You invest the time and the ingredients to make a truly tasty dish and you can't get that little bit of flavor essence because of a hot spot in your cheap pot caused the Maillard reaction to go a little too far and instead of notes of caramel and honey you have burnt wood. That's why true gourmets spend the money on good tools. They make the job easier.
The actual Amazon price is only $404: https://www.amazon.com/All-Clad-Stainless-Dishwasher-Stockpot-Cookware/dp/B0051OET3E/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=all+clad+8+qt+pot&qid=1634742401&sr=8-3
And if you want cheap Chinesium crap from WallyMart, you can get if for $20. And you'll get what you pay for.
The All-Clad, like Lodge cast iron, will be handed down by your grandchildren to your great grandchildren.
Tell me again which choice is contributing to the decline of America.
True. I prepare gourmet Chinese dishes. The tools and ingredients I use are quite expensive, but without them I could not do what I do. My Kung Pao Chicken is to die for.
Dude, I have 5 kids & I got sick of thin sided pots. I got me an all clad. They are expensive but your GREAT grandchildren will fight over who gets the pot, too. You buy them one time & they are thick and multilayerd. I LOVE MINE. Best $300 i ever spent.
Check out the price on this pot. I was interested till I found out it wasn't the kind of "pot" I thought.
ReplyDeleteBut it's dishwasher safe.
ReplyDeleteMade from pure unobtanium with copper accents.
ReplyDeleteAll Clad is pricy but made in USA. It beats the pants off of Chinesium stuff.
ReplyDelete$500 for a cook-pot. And people wonder why China is eating our economic lunch.

No one is disputing that professionals use professional tools. The average swinging dik isn't a professional. Do you see the distinction?
Delete"Maillard reaction" Had to look that one up.
DeleteI will never click on an Amazon link. Find another income source, you're aiding and abetting the enemy.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. The blog owner will do as he chooses and you have no say in it. Presumptuous ass.
DeleteAll my pot and pans are AllClad. The best in the industry.
ReplyDeleteThat's a rapist site.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to burn my Chef Boyardee overstuffed ravioli.
ReplyDeleteNot for long... $250,000 in billboard ads to stop audits. Say goodbye to your vote altogether.
