And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Ospreys are thick in the sky here, and although there's salmon in the river, they're not red like that one
If you've got property and a pond with fish in it build an Osprey nest platform next to it. It's incredibly easy to do and if you build it they will come.
Here in the Oregon Outback, our raptor population is way down this year. So is the observable rodent population in the fields though. I suppose it's a cyclical thing, but two years ago it seems every power pole had something perched on it; Osprey, Falcons, Eagles (Golden and Bald), Red-Tails, etc. Now, there's only a few Red-Tails, and we still have Great Horned Owls working the night shift.
