And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Love it!! There is nothing quite like the experience of these monsters, as you stand along side them! The power is felt and heard. Sadly, I'm sure electric racers will come of age and be stupidly fast too, and fun for the driver. However who wants to watch silence?
+1. hotrodding is about more than performance. It's an experience, comprised of the sights, the sounds, the feel, the smell. They wont replicate it with EVs, no matter how hard they try.
I used to live up above Morrison, Co and settin on the patio during the mile high nats, I could no shit feel it when the F/C and T/F cars were goin off. easy 3 miles away.
I suppose I should add that I live 4 miles from PBIR (formerly Moroso) and can hear these things from my patio, as there is nothing but everglades between me and PBIR. It warms my heart every time! I don't go as often as I should, but I am there for the big stuff.
