And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A '56 I believe? God we made great cars. What the hell happened? It's good we have SEMA and the after market to help preserve these rolling works of art. At least for now.
Packard! Not sure the year but one of the models had an automatic-leveler. We kids used to sit on the rear bumper and get a very slow ride vertical...then slide off and the thing would go back down! ZZzzzzzzz! Boy, kids in the city with nothing to do!
The vehicle's straight line symmetry is captivating. The full white walls add to the eye pleasure.

ReplyDeleteJaguar used the phrase "Grace,pace,space" to describe their autos. It applies here as well.
