  1. It's a single purpose tool that does a job that is easier dome with a multi purpose tool. Been using a 40 year old school compass as a scribe and it never fails....and it does circles and radii too, and several other things. I can see those tiny little fingers on the Saker getting tore up in a tool box. Looks kinda delicate.

  3. I used to have one of these things, I think B&D made them - they were steel though. Very handy when working any kind of moulding or any kind of cabinetry. Here's another application many don't consider: fireplaces or trimming around stonework. I've seen this used to fit a trim piece to a rock face exactly. Very impressive and almost impossible without this tool.
